Parking Brake, Adjust
The emergency or parking brake is used simply to hold the vehicle stationary while parked. Adjustment requires making sure the parking brake system is neither too lose nor too tight. If too lose, the system will not hold the vehicle stationary: if too tight, the parking brake will wear prematurely. Adjust parking brake cables or rear wheel adjusters to hold the vehicle and test drive vehicle. For more information, please refer to parking brake.
